Lófalestur - Hands of Iceland

What does it mean to be Icelandic in the 21st-century? Can an island people be defined through the hand dominance, metrics, nail shapes, lines, and creases of their hands and fingerprints.? Each participant will also, before having a reading,, give their hands to be recorded and and metadata collected that will be stored in the national archives of Iceland for future generations.

We will be working on the 21st and every participant must have at least one Icelandic parent, and we cannot record your hands if you have fingernail polish on for children to participate, apparent or guardian must be present to give their right to have the young person participate.
