I am a physiotherapist & integrated health practitioner with almost 25 years experience.
After completing my physiotherapy degree in London in 2000, I gained experience in the core areas within the NHS before spending a few years working in hospice care, helping patients with complex pain and emotional needs.
Following an injury sustained in 2006, I developed unresolving chronic musculoskeletal pain which wouldn’t respond to a traditional physiotherapeutic approach. Whilst seeking answers to my own problems, I trained in the Bowen technique and discovered the world of fascia. Since then I have trained in a number of techniques which include the Emmett technique, Neurolink and Anatomy in motion.
I also recently qualified as a Naturopath I have been running a busy Physiotherapy and natural health clinic for 15 years working full time utilising a non -pharmacological approach to restore the health and well-being of my clients.
I look at addressing the physical, emotional and chemical stressors that are driving my patients symptoms.
Alongside treating my private patients I have been teaching in the Uk and throughout Europe since 2017. When I’m not working my two teenage sons keep me busy and I have a passion for the sea, surfing as much as I can. When the surf is flat I enjoy spending time in nature and am a keen runner, adopting a barefoot running approach since completing the Anatomy in motion training.
